Muscat: The Ministry of Education on Wednesday conducted written tests for graduates for the posts of teachers in schools across the Sultanate. The tests were conducted at Sultan Qaboos University, Dhofar and Musandam.
The examinations were for the posts of teachers in Arabic, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, arts, history, music and skills, Islamic education, special education, information technology, geography and sports. Tests for arts, music and sports were conducted by specialists from Sultan Qaboos University.
The ministry also stated that the priority in recruitment will be given to graduates who have passed the tests
in the past years. They have not been appointed due to non-availability of vacancies. — ONA
