NIZWA, Aug 12 - The process of hiring teachers in various disciplines has been completed for the academic year 2018-19 by the General Directorate of Education in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah.
A total of 194 teachers have been recruited, including 185 female teachers and nine male teachers.
A committee had been constituted to complete the process of appointments. Its tasks included conducting interviews, focusing on personal characteristics and their familiarity with skills necessary for teaching.
In order to provide the new teachers with necessary skills before joining teaching, the General Directorate of Education will hold an induction programme for them. It will include theoretical/practical programmes and specialised training workshops dealing with a variety of educational studies.
These programmes are being implemented in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department and the Specialized Center for Vocational Training for Teachers.
