|Monday General Sir Christopher Michael Deverell, UK Commander of the Joint Forces Command, and his delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The meeting reviewed fields of the existing military cooperation between the two friendly countries. It also discussed the preparations for the Swift Swords 3 exercise, which will be carried out in the Sultanate this year between the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and the UK army.
The meeting was attended by Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the UK appointed-ambassador to the Sultanate, and the delegation accompanying the guest. — ONA
