Sultanate flays Surabaya, Paris terror attacks

MUSCAT: The Sultanate on Sunday strongly condemned the bombings which targeted a number of churches in Surabaya, Indonesia, resulting in the killing of many and injuries to a number of people. The Sultanate also expressed its denunciation of the stabbings that took place in French capital Paris, resulting in the killing of innocent people. The Sultanate reaffirmed its stance against all forms of violence and terrorism which target innocent people, places of worship and the security of nations, regardless of the reasons and excuses, as these are vicious terrorist acts against all religions, norms and human morals. Meanwhile, French police have arrested a friend of the man who carried out the deadly stabbing attack in Paris on Saturday night, a source close to the inquiry said. — ONA
