Sultanate at Arab Women Committee session in Bahrain

MUSCAT: The Sultanate represented by the Ministry of Social Development will take part in the 36th session of the Arab Women Committee and the preparatory regional meeting at the government level of the 61st session of the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW61), due to be held in Bahrain on February 6 and 7. The session will discuss a number of topics related to enabling the woman and advancing her situations at the Arab level, such as agenda of woman’s sustainable development 2030, woman and security, peace and combating terrorism, as well as enhancing the economic empowerment of woman and political participation of woman in the Arab region. — ONA
