Ishaq al Ismaili gave up his public sector job to start a Sanad services centre ‘Al Imtinan National’. The project became a success and Al Ismaili has set himself as an example for other youths to pursue their dream to become entrepreneurs. “I had a very tough beginning, but I was determined to attain success. I started with a small porta cabin office beside one of the ROP offices in Muscat.”

Having chosen an excellent location for his project within Muscat city, Al Ismaili got his brother to help him run the business. His business became big for two people to handle, so he recruited five people. They worked tirelessly from morning till 10 pm and the office was as active as a beehive and the customers were happy at the speed and accuracy with which the formalities were accomplished.

“My success couldn’t have happened had it not been for the skilled staff who were tech-savvy. When government departments decided to introduce the e-service system, we saw it an opportunity managed to overcome the challenge applying new methods. Today, my office employs 20 young Omanis.”
