KUALA LUMPUR: Students team ‘Sumou’ from the Sultanate won gold medal at the 29th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition in Malaysia (ITEX 2018) on ‘Smart Pharmaceutical System’ project, by Salim al Habsi and Mohammed al Habsi, from among 1,000 inventions from different countries around the world. The ‘Sumou’ team consists of students and graduates of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) representing various colleges. The team has many international achievements to its credit. It has won two silver medals at international inventions exhibition in the Middle East in Kuwait, and won an award from the Ministry of Sports Affairs ‘Injazatuna’.
