MUSCAT: The State Council will today host CEO and officials of Information Technology Authority (ITA) to make a presentation to review the national strategy of the Digital Society of Oman and E-Government (Digital Oman). The presentation will be attended by Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council, Council members and the Secretary-General of the Council at the Council of Oman hall. Dr Salim bin Sultan al Ruzaiqi, will deliver the presentation to review the national strategy of the Digital Society of Oman and E-Government (Digital Oman). It will delve into the main axes, and will include advanced infrastructure, development digital society, smart government, e-services, development of the information and communication technology industry, cyber security, confidence building, governance, policies and standards as well as the awareness and information hub.
