MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Tuesday signed research cooperation agreement with the British Petroleum (BP Oman) to support research on sustainable energy. The agreement was signed by Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, SQU Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. Khalid al Kindi, Deputy General-Manager of BP Oman. The total cost of the agreement stood at RO 150,000 for the first stage extending for three years. As per the agreement, SQU academics will conduct research for the BP Oman on areas of sustainable energy. — ONA
