MUSCAT: An Emirates flight which arrived from Dubai at 9.45 am on Sunday was held up at Muscat International Airport after baggage handlers discovered a snake in the cargo hold. The snake was found before Sunday’s flight from Oman, the airline said in a statement, adding that the aircraft was returned to service after being thoroughly searched. While an airport official initially told the Observer that the snake was found and the flight will be delayed, but it was later officially denied through a telephonic interaction. Flight’s landing in Muscat was normal.
