Huawei recently concluded their Huawei ICT skills competition in Oman. It is an international programme that provides opportunities for students of information and communication technology to recognise their IT skills. It is a platform to compete at national and international levels. A pool of 576 students from 11 colleges participated with great passion for learning out of which 227 students participated the first round competition. 80 of them passed the first round and attended the national final competition. Finally 9 students have been recognised as the best talents. Six of them will go to Huawei HQ for next advanced competition in China, and represent Oman to challenge the best teams from other 9 countries.
Huawei is in association with the Ministry of Manpower for this competition.

On this occasion I am thankful for the support and guidance provided to us by the Ministry of Manpower. Also great thanks to all the colleges and their faculty members for the great energy and time to participate in this event.
