SIS makes Suhar proud

SUHAR: Sohar International School (SIS) recently rewarded the students who achieved excellent results during the Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level examinations. The function took place under the auspices of Wali of Suhar Al Shaikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi. The function was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Education and prominent members of the local as well as expatriate communities. Not only did the students produce the best results in the history of the school, but the school also received 3 High Achiever and 3 Best in Oman subject Awards. “Three years ago the school management team went through a process of evaluating the academic level of our school and we then deliberately addressed areas that we felt needed improvement, these results are testament to the improvements and upgrades that we implemented”. “It is clear that we are moving in the right direction and we are confident that this is only the beginning”, said Sharl Prinsloo, Principal of the School, during his welcome address.
