MUSCAT: The Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (SEZAD) has reduced the fees of service it provides to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by 50 per cent following a decision taken by Yahya bin Said al Jabri, Chairman of SEZAD. The amendments that were made to Article (1) of decision No 8/2016 reduces the fees paid against services provided by the authority to small and medium enterprises by fifty per cent providing these enterprises are fully owned by Omani citizens and registered at the Public Authority for SMEs Development for a period of five years. The fees for other services which are provided for in this decision will remain the same.
