Sayyid Badr receives UK official

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidy, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, received Vice Admiral Timothy Fraser, Chief of the Joint Operations (CJO) of the United Kingdom, at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj on Wednesday. They reviewed military cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as the ongoing preparations for the Swift Sword 3 Exercise between the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and the British Army scheduled to be executed in the Sultanate during the second half of October. The meeting was attended by Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and the UK Ambassador to the Sultanate. — ONA
