MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, returned home on Sunday from Brunei Darussalam after taking part, on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkia’s Accession to the Throne. HH Sayyid Asaad was received by Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salmy, Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, State Minister and Governor of Muscat, and advisers and top ranking officials. Prior to his departure, HH Sayyid Asaad sent a cable of thanks AND appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality to Sultan Hassanal Bolkia. — ONA
