Sayyid Asaad to lead Sultanate at Arab Summit

AMMAN: His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to lead the Sultanate’s delegation at the 28th Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in the Dead Sea on Wednesday as delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein, the Regent in Jordan, led the welcoming party for HH Sayyid Asaad upon his arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. HH Sayyid Asaad was also received by Hani al Mulki, Prime Minister of Jordan, Imad Fakhoury, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Mohammad al Momani, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League.

HH Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Legal Affairs, Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Adviser at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Saif bin Ahmed al Sawafi, Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Khamis bin Mohammed al Farsi, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Jordan, Ali bin Ahmed al Isa’ee, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Abdullah bin Hamad al Badi, Head of the Human Resources Department at the Foreign Ministry and Mubarak bin Hamad al Mukhaini, Head of the Arab League Department at the Foreign Ministry. — ONA
