Sankranthi Saragalu celebration

The Indian Social Club’s Telugu Wing is all geared up to entertain and enthrall their members with “Sankranthi Saragalu 2017” to mark the celebration of harvest festival Sankranthi Telugu people on Saturday, February 11 starting at 16.30 hrs at Ramee Dream Resorts — Beach Road, Al Seeb.
Kadimcherla Anil Kumar, the convener said, “Sankranthi Saragalu is a musical extravaganza with a mixture of Jaana Padaalapaatalu and cinematic songs added with traditional arts and skills to suit the taste of Telugu community from various regions. We stand as one and united as Telugu community in celebrating cultural events of various regions of states of Telugu.” He also emphasised that the main objective of the ISC Telugu wing is to patronise the culture and development of the Telegu language.
“Shri. Kaloji Narayana Rao award and Kala Ratna award winner, who became an instant success with Re Relaa Re —Maa TV programme a poet and singer Shri. GoretiVenkannagaru will be the guest of honour. He accepted our request despite busy schedule to entertain and give his message on Palletoorlu and Prakrithi through his songs.”
Damini Batla — one of the sisters of Mounima — and Damini who shot to fame with songs in Bahubali and Rahul are also joining to entertain the audience with their voices by singing film songs.
“Indian social Club Telugu wing since its inception at all times look forward to search for the talent from our villages and towns and always like to give them an opportunity on international platform for the benefit of the individuals. Following the same tradition Subbarao Lingamguntla known as “Aaj Ka Arjun” for his skills with bow and arrow is also joining with the team.
