SalamAir has welcomed Pakistan to its fast-growing route network with direct flights to Sialkot beginning on May 16 and to Multan on May 23. SalamAir services to both cities will operate thrice weekly with one-way tickets starting at just OMR 30.

Underscoring the key role these new routes will play in promoting business and leisure travel between Oman and Pakistan, Khalid al Yahmadi, chairman, SalamAir said: “While these services will facilitate increased travel flows, they will also provide important connectivity for enterprises keen to capitalize on Oman’s investor-friendly regulatory framework as they explore the wealth of commercial opportunities in the Sultanate’s diversifying economic base. The flights will also enable Oman’s ambitious business community to profit from the possibilities presented by Pakistan’s booming economy, particularly those of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.”

François Bouteiller, SalamAir CEO added: “Sialkot and Multan are high-volume destinations and yet remain underserved routes despite Oman being home to over 220,000 Pakistani nationals. By introducing our services to these two cities, we will effectively open the skies for more guests to not only travel to and from Pakistan but also fly through to Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia, to Dubai, and of course to Salalah.”

He added, “SalamAir has enjoyed tremendous success since its launch in January this year and we are steadfast on continuing our growth trajectory by consistently offering our guests reliable, affordable and quality services on ground and on-board.”

In addition to flying thrice weekly to Sialkot and Multan, the SalamAir fleet of A320s flies four times daily to Salalah, twice daily to Dubai DWC Airport, daily to Jeddah, and thrice weekly to Madinah.

François went on to highlight that in the next stage of its expansion, SalamAir will be introducing services to Karachi as well as adding select seasonal flights to its schedule. Accommodating the needs of Umrah travelers during Ramadan, the airline will launch flights to Taif in addition to boosting the frequency of its service to Madinah. Tourists in Oman will also be catered to with the addition of more flights to Salalah during the popular Khareef season.

Guests are invited to book their flights on SalamAir through the airline’s easy-to-use website: www.salamair.com. All routes offer a choice of three easy fare options: Light, Friendly & Flexi. Always offering value for money, a cost-conscious menu of additional services is available to guests, which includes extra luggage allowance, seat selection, and priority check-in.
