ROP to mark International Customs Day on Jan 26

MUSCAT: Royal Oman Police (ROP) represented by Directorate General of Customs will mark on Thursday the International Customs Day which falls on January 26 every year. This year the occasion will be marked under the slogan “a security environment for economic development”.
Major General Suliman bin Mohammed al Harthi, Assistant Inspector General for Financial and Administrative Affairs of Royal Oman Police and Customs, will preside over the celebration which will be organised by the Directorate General of Customs at its premises in the Airport Heights in Muscat Governorate in the presence of a number of ministers and senior officers of ROP and the other military and security authorities.
