MUSCAT: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) will present today its very own production entitled “Celebrating Oman: the Great Journey.” The show will be shedding light on part of Oman history and blessed renaissance under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. ‘Celebrating Oman: The Great Journey’ consisting of eight vivid musical tableaux, representing different aspects of life in Oman, will be taking the audience on an incredible expedition through Oman’s rich history, nature, seafarers’ traditions, cultural heritage as well as its modern history, and will combine poetry, music, performing arts and dazzling image projections. This groundbreaking show will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tareq al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture, in the presence of dignitaries. “Celebrating Oman” will be presented on ROHM’s Maidan outdoor space on January 5, 6 and 7 at 7 pm.
