Research proposals enter initial evaluation stage

MUSCAT: Dr Faisal bin Abdullah al Farsi, Head of the Supervisory Committee for Social Insurance Scientific Research Award, pointed out that 69 research proposals including 39 by PhD and master degrees holders and 30 from bachelor degree holders and university students were submitted. He added that the good turn out from inside and outside the Sultanate reflects the existence of research culture and enhances the efforts made by the Authority to benefit from scientific researches in enhancing the operational efficiency and Fund sustainability. He added that the evaluating team will continue evaluating the research proposals to ensure that they meet requirements to qualify for the next stage, which will start from January 1 to June 30, 2018, the deadline for submitting the integrated researches. The researches evaluation team will submit the final results to the main committee to unveil winners during December and October 2018. — ONA
