Muscat - The National Commission for Civil Defence (NCCD) has officially announced the end of the rescue operations for cyclone Mekunu in Dhofar.
A statement issued on Monday said the concerned sectors and the government agencies, however, will continue with their efforts to with their reconstruction and repair activities.
The committee appreciated the efforts of of various agencies, including the National Center for Multi-Hazard Early Warning, media institutions and sub-committees of the civil defense individuals for their timely assistance and support that helped people to deal with the tropical situation.
