MUSCAT, Nov 27 - Acclaimed poet Dr Kumar Vishvas will be performing in Muscat for Indian Social Club Oman, Hindi Wing for their Annual event Minara Hasya Kavi Sammelan (humorous poetry recital) ‘Hasya Mev Jayate’ to be held on December 8, at the Le Grand Hall Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi.
Dr Vishvas has given numerous performances worldwide and is a very famous and favourite Hindi poet among Hindi poetry lovers. This will be his first visit to the Sultanate. Besides him, there are other famous poets who will be participating in the event including Ramesh Muskan, Mumtaz Fatima, Gaurav Sharma and Prakask Paploo. All these poets are very popular lyricists and men of words as well in India and have been touring the world over giving performances to much acclaim. “These poets have also been performing on various Indian TV channels from time to time and indeed a privilege to have them in Muscat,” said Gajesh Dhariwal, Convenor, Hindi Wing.
