RAO ends joint exercise ‘Al Najah-2’

NEW DELHI: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Northern Frontier Regiment, concluded in India the joint exercise ‘Al Najah-2’ or (Success- 2), which was carried out with the forces of the army in India in order to raise efficiency and develop leadership and field skills and exchange of military expertise. The joint exercise ‘Al Najah-2’, which lasted for 14 days, included the implementation of procedures for joint military operations to achieve the planned training objectives. Brig Salim bin Saif al Hosani, Commander of the (23) Infantry Brigade, and a number of senior officers of RAO attended the closing activities of the exercise. It is worth mentioning that the previous version of the joint exercise was held in Oman in the exercises area of RAO in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar in 2015. —ONA
