By Lakshmi Kothaneth — MUSCAT: Jan 21 - Another round of showers is expected along the coastal areas of Oman Sea, Musandam and parts of Al Hajar Mountains on Tuesday, according to the Met office. However, the low pressure will bring rain for just one day. These areas had just received winter rains. The Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) said there is “still a chance of rain on Sunday, but the indicators are clear for rain on Tuesday”. Oman Sea will continue to be rough until the end of this weekend. On Sunday, weather is expected to be partly cloudy over parts of northern governorates and Arabian Sea coasts. Isolated rain and occasional thundershowers over governorates of Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, Al Hajar Mountains and parts of coastal areas along the Arabian Sea are likely. Meanwhile, PACDA teams rescued six people trapped inside a vehicle in Qurayat on Saturday and all of them are in good health.
