By Lakshmi Kothaneth — MUSCAT: Feb. 12 - Clouds over most of the Sultanate have raised hopes of more rain. There are chances of rain over Musandam, Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah and Al Hajar Mountains, according to the Met office. Slight chance of light rain has been forecast in the coastal areas of Dhofar. The advection of medium and high clouds might provide a chance of isolated rain over these governorates. Waves are expected to rise to a height of metres and above on Monday in Oman Sea and the coastal areas of Musandam. On Sunday, Shinas in North Al Batinah received rain towards the afternoon. In Muscat, humidity has been ranging from 40 per cent to 70 per cent and in Salalah, from 55 per cent to 75 per cent.
