Quriayat to get new residential, leisure address

Quriyat Development Company (QDC) held the ground breaking ceremony on Monday for its integrated tourism project in Quriyat in Muscat Governorate, which is estimated to cost $385, in the presence of Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrazi, Minister of Tourism.


The project will include the tourist, residential and recreational sectors. The tourism sector include three to five star hotels offering a total of 750 room, and a nine-hole golf course. The residential side includes the 3,000 freehold homes open to both citizens and foreigners.


The water park and the Boulevard Walk have a recreation center with a range of restaurants and cafes, as well as cinemas halls and an integrated health club.  The project involves enhancing the interest of the seaport and developing a floating berth for the reception.


The project will be developed in three stages, five years for each stage, where the first phase will include the development for the infrastructure for the project, construction of 400 housing units on an area of ​​7,700 sqm, in addition to a four-star hotel of 100 rooms over an area of ​​over 53,000 sqm on the waterfront.


The residential district of Boulevard covers an area of ​​53,000 sqm as well a water park, recreational and commercial facilities spread over an area of ​​more than 38,700 meters.


And the berth of boats and an area of ​​more than 75 thousand square meters.
