Project by 2 Omani students ranks among 10 best Asian projects

IBRI: Two Omani students from Al Hayyal School for Basic Education in the Governorate of Al Dhahirah  accomplished an international achievement after their project ‘Automatic Car Umbrella’ came within the best 10 projects at the level of the continent of Asia. The project consists of an umbrella fixed outside the car, powered by ‘remote control’ and is aimed at reducing the greenhouse effect inside the car and protect it from climatic conditions, as well as reducing the space used for the fixed umbrella. Said bin Hemiar al Shukaily, Principal of Al Hayyal School for Basic Education in the Governorate of Al Dhahirah explained that the ‘Automatic Car Umbrella’ project is among the top ten Asian projects by the students Salim bin Ahmed al Kalbani and Munthir bin Hamad al Kalbani, pointing out that the competition was among 72 projects with the participation of 24 Arab and foreign countries. — ONA
