AL BURAIMI: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Sunday celebrated the opening of Police Command in the Governorate of Al Buraimi under the auspices of Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, in the presence of Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs. Present at the opening ceremony were ministers, honourable members of the State Council, members of Majlis Ash’shura, senior officers at the ROP, Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and other security units, dignitaries and citizens. The building of Al Buraimi Police Command includes multi-purpose hall and an operation centre to receive notifications and organise patrols. It also contains a forensic lab, administrative utilities and police service buildings. — ONA
