Pioneering role of ROHM commended

MUSCAT: President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of Egypt on Monday visited the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM). During the visit, President el Sisi was briefed on the house, its facilities and programmes during the year. He also viewed the state-of-the-art equipment used for world music performances. He also toured various facilities at ROHM and viewed its potentials to host various artistic shows, cultural forums and the international events. At the end of his visit, President Abdel Fattah el Sisi signed the visitors’ book, commending the role of ROHM which is considered a pioneering centre in the field of arts and culture. He pointed out to the distinguished cultural and art programmes presented by the house, as well as its role in presenting a civilisational, artistic and inspirational image that reflects the cultural progress of the Omani brotherly people. — ONA
