Muscat: The production of refineries and petroleum industries companies in the Sultanate during the first half of 2017 rose by 12 per cent compared to the production recorded during the same period of 2016. The statistics, based on the data of Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic), showed that the products included the premium gasoline (M95) declined by 14 per cent to hit 7,684,000 barrels during the first half of 2017 compared to 8,951,000 barrels during the corresponding last year. The production of regular gasoline (M91) reached 4,945,000 barrels, comprising a rise by 51 per cent compared to the same period in 2016. — ONA
