MUSCAT: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) organised recently a workshop on ‘Leadership by Example’ at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat.
The workshop aimed at providing participants with knowledge on the concept and significance of ‘Leadership by Example’ and the role it plays in enhancing performance and communication aspects in an organisation.
The workshop also underscored on aspects to adopt ‘Leadership by Example’ at administrative levels regardless of the position and job title.
It also highlighted the importance of values at work environments, being the tool that governs employees’ behaviour, decisions and daily actions.
The workshop comes within PEIE’s plan for 2017 to train and develop its human resources in the various industrial estates pertaining to PEIE.
The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates has also
designed a package of training programmes to meet knowledge and technical requirements of the human resources in the industrial sector.
Through these programmes, PEIE aspires to enhance the level of performance efficiency aimed at various management levels.
