MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI) adopted the final accounts of the Authority for the financial year ending in December 2016 at its second meeting this year under the chairmanship of Hamad bin Khamis al Aamri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Manpower for Labour Affairs, PASI Deputy Chairman.
The Board discussed a number of topics related to the PASI investment and the review of local and international investment opportunities.
The Board also adopted a number of policies and procedures governing the work of PASI and reviewed a report on the activities of the sub-committees of the PASI’s Board for the year 2016. — ONA
