MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserve (PASFR) on Sunday held its first meeting this year under the chairmanship of Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and Chairman of PASFR Board. The board reviewed implementation of the decisions made at its previous meeting and the minutes of the fourth meeting for 2016.
It also discussed several issues listed on the agenda, such as discussing the appointment of Deputy Chairman for the PASFR and forming the internal tender committee and the auditing committee.
They also discussed the draft budget for 2018 and approved the sale and credit policies. The meeting also reviewed the minutes of the Internal Tender Committee and the Auditing Committee’s meetings.
The board also took necessary decisions towards the items listed on the agenda. — ONA
