MUSCAT: Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Radio and TV (PART), met in his office on Tuesday with the new board of directors of Oman Journalists Association (OJA) chaired by Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak al Araimi. The meeting covered the role played by OJA as one of the organisations in developing professional skills of its members through training and participation in various domestic and external events.

This will enable them to practise journalism as per the highest professional quality standards, according to a specified and clear framework that achieves the aims of the association. PART chairman pointed out that it supports the activities of OJA and other official and private media organisations as they have a common national media message to convey to different parts of the society.
