MUSCAT: The two Park Inn by Radisson Hotels in Muscat and in Duqm have being awarded the Safehotels certifications.
This demonstrates that a hotel focuses on key elements of guest safety, personal property and is able to provide the right response if an incident or any kind of emergency occurs during a guest’s stay.
Park Inn Muscat has secured its premium level certification for three years in a row and Park Inn Duqm has achieved an upgrade from basic to premium level for this year.
Nuno Neves, Cluster General Manager for Park Inn Muscat & Park Inn Duqm says the safety and security of our guests is something we take very seriously and we want to safeguard our hotels’ employees are as ready as possible for any situation that may take place. The one element in this certification is about prevention. Preventing things to happen and the employees are ready for any circumstances that may occur. I thank all the staff for their dedication for maintaining the standards and implementing it on their daily task.
Safehotels has evaluated the two hotel’s existing self-assessment internal hotel security programme through monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the self-assessment hotel database and submittals. The hotel goes through a number of criteria including security equipment, staff awareness & training, fire security and first aid.
