Muscat: Oman Table Tennis Committee is gearing up to host the first edition of Ramadhan Nights TT tournament. This tournament will be organised in cooperation with Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. The participation in this tournament is open to all government ministries, authorities and private sector organisations. Two players from each team will represent their team. Any organisation can participate with any number of teams. The tournament will take part in two stages. The first stage will be for pre-qualifications round to be held during May 17 to 20. While the finals stage will take part on May 31 to June 3.
OTTC has started sending participation letter to all the government and private sectors. The OTTC will arrange six tables for competitions that is scheduled to take place in Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. Two more extra tables will be specialised for families members to play table tennis and have some fun time. This tournament is considered as a golden opportunity to reveal some new talented players from different ministries and companies. These new talented players can be part of Omani clubs and national teams in the future.
