Ooredoo convoy heads to Salalah with aid

The Ooredoo Goodwill Journey set off this morning, diverting from the intended route to bring aid to those in Salalah.

In the wake of Cyclone Mekunu, the convoy will be traveling directly to Dhofar with trucks loaded with supplies, household goods and equipment to assist with local relief efforts.

Raed Mohammed Dawood, director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo said, “This year our Goodwill Journey brings home the meaning of ‘goodwill’ as we set off to help our brothers and sisters affected by the cyclone. It is always great to see such an enthusiastic crowd present to send our volunteers off on the start this mission and the spirit of all of those taking part inspires and motivates the us to share the very special spirit and happiness of the Holy month.”
