MUSCAT: In light of rising network security threats, Ooredoo is committed to playing a vital role by providing protection against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks for customers. The service tightens the network security for Ooredoo Internet Enterprise (OIE) corporate customers and maintains a strong defence against various cyber threats, both for network and application layers. This service enhances Ooredoo’s 24/7 network surveillance and provides customers with access to Ooredoo’s IT security professionals as well as a secure chest that allows identified threats to be monitored. The DDoS managed security shield is also equipped with early detection and elimination capabilities. “We live in a world where companies need watertight security systems to protect their business interests from malicious threats. With the rise of Internet attacks, it is essential for our corporate customers to have the very best security on the market,” said Sultan al Wahaibi, Chief Business and Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo.
