Omantel roadshow to showcase leadership in 4G network

Omantel has announced the launch of its 4G roadshow that will reinforce its leadership in providing 4G network connectivity through the Sultanate.

The roadshow will commence on March 2, 2017 and will tour 13 districts across the Sultanate.

Oman is the third country in the Arab world to launch 4G networks, and Omantel has played a tremendous role in positioning the Sultanate among the top 20 countries with the fastest 4G networks in the world, and the second in the Arab world according to Open Signal report.

Omantel’s 4G networks currently cover more than 86 per cent of inhabited areas in the Sultanate; far ahead of the global average of approximately 48 per cent, according to the statistics of the World Association for Mobile Communications.

In addition, Omantel will focus on organising a series of events targeting different age groups where the strength of Omantel’s 4G networks will be demonstrated and utilised through various recreational activities.
