Omani-Swiss Friendship Association marks first anniversary

MUSCAT: While sponsoring the event organised by the Omani-Swiss Friendship Association to mark its 1st anniversary, HH Sayyid Tareq bin Shabib al Said has described the relationship between the Sultanate and Switzerland as ‘deep-rooted’ and constantly growing’ thanks to the care provided by the leaderships in both friendly countries. He pointed out that the development of relations is reflected in the cooperation in political, economic, cultural and tourism field which has been growing over the past year. Moreover, the trade and economic cooperation is going in the right direction.
Shaikh Saif bin Hashil al Maskari, Chairman of the Omani-Swiss Friendship Association, in his speech said that the establishment of the association comes in a bid to enhance bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in economic, cultural, tourism , art and investment fields.
Luka Decarley, Deputy Chairman of the Omani-Swiss Friendship Association, in his speech hailed the strong relations between the Sultanate and Switzerland which is witnessing growth in all fields. The event was attended by a number of their highness and excellencies. At the end of the event, HH Sayyid Tareiq bin Shabib al Said honoured the association sponsors. — ONA
