MUSCAT: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and Royal Saudi Navy carried out joint naval drill named Al Aubour ‘crossing’ on the Omani territorial waters of the Sea of Oman. A number of vessels from the two navies took part in the exercise which was aimed at exchanging experience and sustaining high efficiency at various naval levels. It included training on tactics and manoeuvres conducted with the support of the Royal Air Force of Oman’s (Rafo) helicopters.
