Omani firm wins Microsoft award

MUSCAT, Oct 23 - International Information Technology Company (IITC), a leading IT system integrator in the Sultanate, has won the ‘Microsoft Country Partner of the Year 2017 Award’. The annual awards are part of Microsoft’s efforts to recognise top partners demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. This year, Microsoft acknowledged partners in 34 categories celebrating each of the core partner competencies, including cloud technology, public sector and Microsoft philanthropies.


The award finalists and winners were selected from more than 2,800 nominations collected from 115 countries worldwide based on their commitment to customers, their solution’s impact on the market and use of Microsoft technologies.


IITC offers cloud services to organisations in Oman by addressing key business requirements through building, deploying and managing applications on the Microsoft platform integrated with other vendor applications. The partner has demonstrated how Microsoft cloud drives business value across industries especially public sector, oil and gas, and education by integrating with the existing on-premises infrastructure enabling organisations to achieve reduction in support and management costs.
