Oman Real Estate Conference to be held on May 15-16

The third edition of Oman Real Estate Conference, to be organised by Oman Real Estate Association (ORA), will be held during 15-16 May at Hotel Grand Millennium, Muscat this year.


Speaking on the event’s objective, Eng Mohammed bin Salim al Busaidi, Chairman of ORA, said: “We want to create a constructive platform for the real estate sector where the relevant stakeholders including the policymakers, regulators, real estate developers, real estate management and broking companies along with the allied sector could work together for a sustainable growth of the industry by exchanging knowledge on best practices, optimise on emerging business opportunities and find solutions to the challenges.”


Oman Real Estate Conference has been patronised by the key government bodies and private sector players in the past and they will continue to support the event for the betterment of the real estate industry.


The event will be attended by a cross-section of the top officials from the relevant ministries, public and private sector enterprises and industry bodies.


Talking about the key highlights of the event, Asim al Zadjali, Board Directors of ORA, said, “The conference will include presentations by industry experts from Oman and international markets, and thought-provoking panel discussions on the market opportunities and solutions to the key challenges.


Knowledge sharing on developments in the integrated residential complexes, emergence of unconventional projects, best practices in real estate regulations, brokerage & training, building sustainable communities & smart urban planning and encouragement to Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) models will be the main draws.


“In addition to the strong conference agenda, we are going to have an exhibition showcasing some of the most prominent and newly launched real estate projects in the country.


The presence of over 300 senior government officials, industry professionals and entrepreneurs over the two days will provide a unique networking opportunity.”
