Oman, Japan review ties

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry on Monday received Masahisa Sato, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.


The two sides touched on the existing friendship relations and cooperation between the Sultanate and Japan in various fields, as well as the keenness of both countries to continue supporting them to encourage developing the economic partnership, cultural and knowledge exchange for the interest and growth of the friendly peoples of both countries.


They also exchanged viewpoints on several issues, regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Mitsugu Saito, Japanese Ambassador to the Sultanate, and officials from both sides.


Later, Masahisa Sato and his delegation, accompanied with the Japanese ambassador to the Sultanate, visited the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Museum on Monday.
