Oman at GCC Guides committee 2nd meeting

MUSCAT: The Sultanate represented by the Directorate General of Scouts and Girl Guides is participating in the 22nd meeting of the GCC Guides Committee, which is hosted by Kuwait from May 22 to 24. The agenda of the meeting includes the presentation of the annual reports of the Gulf Guides Committee and the Training and Programs Committee for the period from 2016 to March 2017 and the presentation of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to encourage volunteerism in the GCC countries.

The meeting will review the financial reports and the ratification of the new budget, the presentation of the strategy of the work of the Committee during the coming period. The meeting will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Committee. The Sultanate will present the topics of the Journal of the Gulf Guides that have been implemented in the Sultanate and the presentation of various topics in preparation for adoption and printing by the GCC Secretariat. — ONA
