Oman at GCC capital markets institutions meeting

MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) will take part on April 27, Thursday, in the 16th meeting of the GCC Chairmen of Capital Markets Institutions Committee, due to be held in Manama in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Sultanate’s delegation to the meeting will be led by Abdullah bin Salem al Salmi, CEO of the Capital Market Authority  (CMA) and includes a number of CMA officials as members. The committee will discuss a number of issues related to integration among GCC capital markets. They also include issues such as the draft strategic study, the mechanism to ensure integration among GCC capital markets, the recommendations of the team work for regularising GCC capital markets, the report of the Secretariat General on the seminar about manipulating GCC capital markets and the latest developments related to developing a framework for a website for the GCC capital market regulators. — ONA
