INSET

As is customary, the Food and Hospitality Oman Exhibition this year will treat the visitors to a showdown of well-renowned chefs in Oman through the highly acclaimed Professional Chefs Competition organized in association with Oman Chefs Guild.

The much sought-after Oman Barista Competition, a joint initiative of Al Roofoof Hotel Supplies & Trading, Astoria, illy, and National Hospitality Institute, has been a crowd-puller in the coffee scene throughout the five editions since its launch.

Also this year, Omanexpo has added a new culinary competition — Battle of the Burgers — the first-ever competition of its kind in Oman hosted by global frozen food company McCain, where the best grilling joints in the country vie for the title “Best Burger in Oman.”
