Muscat - An official of a car dealership in Dhofar has been sentenced to two years and fined RO2,000 for failing to meet the obligations as per an agreement with a buyer, which included free service for five years. As per a statement issued by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection, the newly-bought SUV of a the affected party had a problem of malfunction with its engine, but the dealer refused to fixed the problem despite the contractual obligations.
