Oman calls for international law in cyberspace

NAIROBI: Meetings of the 56th session of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) opened in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi on Tuesday under the patronage of William Ruto, Vice-President of Kenya. The Sultanate’s delegation was led by Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Legal Affairs, in the presence of Saleh bin Suleiman al Harthy, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Kenya. The Minister of Legal Affairs delivered the Sultanate’s statement at the meeting during which he affirmed the Sultanate’s position on the topics under discussion, such as combating terrorism, international law in cyberspace and other legal issues. — ONA
